The Bath County High School football team will see a familiar face on the sideline this upcoming season. Former Wildcat standout Taborn Kissick joins Head Coach Johnny Poynter’s staff as an assistant.
Kissick, a 2013 BCHS graduate, earned the Eastern Kentucky Conference Player of the Year in 2013 and played a vital role in the Wildcats 8-3 record his junior season. With 107 career receptions for 1,488 yards, Kissick hopes to motivate future wide receivers toward his accomplishments.
Eager for the opportunity to return to the football program that meant so much to him, Kissick commented, “I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to give back to the program that provided so much to me. Excited to get to coach these young guys and help them develop”
The Bath County Wildcats Athletic Program is excited to have Kissick join the staff and encourages all fans to greet him at Meet the Cats at 6:00 pm on Friday, August 11, at Bath County High School.
