Girls Varsity Cross Country · Staviski Ranked 3rd in State Class A

KYtrackXC MileSplit has released the Top Class ‘A’ 2017 Returning Girls for XC list which finds Bath County’s Carrie Staviski 3rd on Average Times (20:32.68), and 4th on Best Time (19:49.00) in the State for the 5K race.

These times are from 2016 races and compiled from all Class ‘A’ Teams with the new KHSAA Realignment.

Carrie returns for her senior season, having competed at the varsity level for seven years since 5th grade in 2010. She has competed in the KHSAA State Cross Country Championship Meet five times.

In 2016 she recorded 1st Place Finishes at Montgomery County, GRC – Run for the Water Barrel, Bath County Wildcat Prowl and the GRC – Coaches Classic. Carrie also recorded four 2nd Place finishes, all just behind the eventual 2016 State XC Champion.

She was named to the 2016 1st Team All-EKC, 1st Team All-KTCCCA Area 7 and 1st Team All-Region 6AA.

Carrie has attended the Murray State Summer Track & Field Camp the past four years. Murray is on the top of her list of schools to attend and further her athletic running career.

She is trained by her coach/dad, USATF Level I & USATF Cross Country Specialist, Rick Staviski.
