A walk-off double propelled Bath County Baseball to a dramatic 16th Region All A Classic victory over Morgan County 7-6 late Wednesday night.
The Wildcats were down 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Spencer Pergrem doubled with the bases loaded scoring all three runners.
Pergrem led the Wildcats to victory by driving in five runs. He went 3-for-4 at the plate. Pergrem drove in runs on a single in the fifth and a double in the seventh.
Tyler Brown added a base hit with two RBI and scored 2 runs.
Jamie Ball led things off on the rubber for Bath County. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out two and walking zero. Nathan Davis relieved Ball to finish for the win going five and one-third, surrendering only one run on three hits while striking out eleven.
The Wildcats tallied seven hits in the game. Pergrem and Nathan Davis each had multiple hits. Pergrem led Bath County with three hits in four at bats.
Bath County will play Raceland in the 16th Region All A Classic Championship Game Thursday night at 6pm at the Owingsville Sports Complex.
