The TRACKCATS conducted their 2018 Senior night at the Battle of the Borders Track Meet in Montgomery County.

The 2018 Seniors include Donovan Holder, Bryson McCarty, Eric Townsend, Gabe Jones, Alden Oldfield, Hannah Martin, Kristin Riddle and Carrie Staviski.


The Seniors’ were presented gifts from their coaches, teammates and the Track & Field Booster Club prior to the start of the meet. BCHS Vice Principal, Diana Cline, was on hand for the presentation and presenting the gifts. Track Booster Treasure Sharon Staviski was also in the greeting line with the Booster gifts. Owingsville Mayor Gary Hunt was in attendance for the meet.

The Girls finished 2nd and the Boys 3rd in the Meet.
The Girls claimed six and the Boys four 1st place finishes

Amelia Oldfield won the 400 Meter Dash in a PR time of 1:09.69 to win her first ever individual event as a varsity athlete.

Isabella Copher claimed the 1st Place finish in the 1600 Meter Run in a time of 5:52.18 and the 3200 Meter Run in PR fashion with a 12:53.33

The 4×400 Meter Relay team of Amelia Oldfield, Kristin Riddle, Makayla Blackburn & Isabella Copher finished first in a time of 5:04.10.

Madelyne English finished 1st in both the Shot Put and Discus Throw. She had a Discus throw of 109-01.00 and a Shot Put of 32-03.00

Alden Oldfield finished the 200 Meter Dash in a time of 26.08 to take the top spot

The 4×800 Meter Relay Team of Caleb Bowen, Hunter Middleton, Eric Townsend and James Overholser finished 1st in a time of 9:18.27

Gabe Jones was 1st in the Shot and Discus with a PR toss of 36-06.50 in the Shot and a Discus Throw of 88-09.00

Each 1st Place Finished earned the Teams 8 points
