The Bath County Wildcats earned three more victories using hot bats and strong arms on the mound as they improved to 18-3 on the season.
The Cats beat the three Ms: Mason County, Menifee County, and Morgan County as they continue the program’s best start in school history.
Last Thursday, sophomore Nathan Davis threw a shutout to lead his team past Mason County 10-0.
Davis also was hot at the plate as he finished a scorching 4-4 with a RBI and a run scored.
Lane Rogers was 3-4 with 3 RBI.
Tyler Brown added a hit and 3 runs scored while Griffin Fraley had a hit, 2 walks, and a RBI. Hunter Kissick and Landan Swartz also had a hit and run scored.
It was the first win over the Royals for the Wildcats since the 2013 season.
In the second game Thursday night, the Wildcats celebrated Senior Night with a 8-1 61st district win over Menifee County.
Davis stayed hot at the plate as he slapped 3 more hits and scored 4 more runs. Senior Jamie Ball added 2 hits and Tyler Brown, Lane Rogers, Cameron Vincent, and Spencer Pergrem each had a hit.
Landan Swartz got the win as he pitched 4 innings striking out 8.
The win kept the Cats perfect in the district standings at 4-0.

Monday night the Cats played at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in a rematch of the semifinals of the 16th Region All A Classic.
The game was part of the rescheduled David Iery Foundation Showcase.
Coach Patrick Armitage’s club used a great outing by Chandler Otis as they pounded Morgan County 9-0.
Otis threw 7 innings, only giving up 2 hits, and struck out 6 as he earned a complete game shutout.
Lane Rogers had the big stick at the plate as he was 2-3 with 3 RBI. Pergrem also had 2 hits for the Cats.
Tyler Brown reached base 3 times with 1 single and a base on balls. He had 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
Bryce Williams had a late pinch hit for a RBI.
Nathan Davis added a hit and a run.
The Wildcats are back in action Tuesday night as they travel to Morehead to face off in a district doubleheader with Rowan County. First pitch is set for 5:30pm. Game 2 will start approximately 7:30pm.
