The TRACKCATS competed in the prestigious KTCCCA Area 7 Track & Field Championship at Russell on Friday May 4. The Girls finished 8th and the Boys 11th.

The meet included teams from Bath County, Ashland Paul Blazer, Boyd, Russell, Raceland, Morgan, Mason, Bracken, Rowan, Montgomery, Elliott, Fairview, Fleming, West Carter, Lewis, Greenup, Rose Hill and East Carter

Earning 1st Place Medals to claim Area 7 Individual Championships were Madelyne English in the Discus Throw with a toss of 106-05 and Taylor Purvis in the Pole Vault clearing a height of 10-00. English and Purvis were named 1st Team All-KTCCCA Area 7.

Earning 2nd Team All-KTCCCA Area 7 honors were Isabella Copher finishing 3rd in the 1600m Run in a time of 5:45.30. Kaylee Staviski 4th in the Pole Vault with a height of 7-00. Madelyne English had a Shot Put throw of 31-10.00 to place 3rd.

   

Also scoring for the TRACKCATS were Amelia Oldfield in the 200 & 400M Dash.
