The Bath County Boys Soccer team was impressive as they won their 2 preseason scrimmages in preparation for the upcoming 2019 season.
The Wildcats won 4-1 at Menifee County in a weather shortened contest.
Alex Perez led the Cats with 3 goals while Gavin Padgett added 1 goal and an assist.
The Wildcats also had a nice 1-0 win over Bullitt East in the annual Frankfort Soccer-rama.
Gavin Padgett scored the lone goal for the Wildcats as Coach Chris Roussos’ club completed a perfect preseason.
Keeper Jacob Patton led a stifling defense for the Wildcats to earn the shutout, which included a save on a penalty kick with 6 minutes remaining in the match.
Bath County Boys Soccer’s home opener is this Thursday vs. Mason County beginning at 6pm.
