The Bath County Wildcats had a big night from senior quarterback Ryan Leach to earn a 27-8 Homecoming game win over East Ridge Friday night in Owingsville.
Leach was a one man wrecking crew on offense as East Ridge couldn’t figure out how to stop him. He totaled 117 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground and 204 yards and 1 score through the air.
Griffin Fraley was his fellow senior’s heir apparent on defense as he had 27 tackles, 2.5 for loss and also grabbed an interception. Fraley also had 6 catches for 98 yards.
Sophomore Jack Wilson was on the receiving end of Leach’s TD pass as he scored the final touchdown of the game.
David Walden made 3 of 4 extra point attempts.
Bath County improved to 3-4 on the season and 1-2 in the district. East Ridge dropped to 0-7 and 0-3 in district play.
The Wildcats will be back in action this Friday at home vs. Prestonsburg with kickoff at 7:30pm.
