The Bath County Girls and Boys Track team had a successful weekend at the KTCCCA Class A Indoor State Championships in Louisville.
The Girls Track team finished 4th out of 21 teams, while the Boys finished 10th out of 21 teams.
A couple of Wildcats improved their previous school records in their indoor events.
Amelia Oldfield broke the indoor school record for the 60-meter dash and Quentin Lewis broke the indoor school record for the 200-meter dash.
Oldfield finished 4th with a time of 8.67 and Lewis finished 4th in the sprint with a time of 23.65.
The 4×8 team received 3rd place metals with a time of 13:53.96. The team consisted of Kelsey Ostrom, Madison Mabior, Gracie Lewis, and Jaelyn Gibson.

Both teams will be back in action on Saturday, March 20th in the Mayor’s Cup Battle of the Border in Mt. Sterling.
