Bath County High School will be hosting the 61st District Boys and Girls Soccer Tournament this week on The Hill beginning Monday night. The tournament continues Tuesday night and culminates with the championship games on Wednesday night. The 61st District Tournament is sponsored by Swartz Mowing, The Citizen’s Bank and Fork University of Owingsville. Below

The Bath County Middle School Girls Basketball team ran through the OVC Tournament to capture the Championship last night at West Carter. The Lady Cats pounded Lewis County for the 33-19 win and finished with a 22-3 record. Congratulations Lady Cats!

Bath County’s Jake Mitchell and McKenna Moore were recently named to the Ashland Daily Independent 2016-17 All-Area Team. Mitchell led the Wildcats with 19.6 points and grabbed 6.4 rebounds per game as the senior guard led his team to the most wins since 2011. He also scored his 1,000th point during the season. The Bath County Boys and Girls Basketball programs attended the EKC Banquet Monday to honor the top players for the 2016-17 season at Carter Caves State Resort Park. The Bath County High School Boys and Girls Basketball programs begin the 2016-17 season on the road tonight.
